I am writing to express my strong opposition to the proposed increase of homes in our village from 700 to 7000, which would devastate our community and the surrounding green belt. My concerns include the lack of infrastructure for schooling and healthcare, and potential accidents and pollution from increased traffic on the already congested A34. The proposals contradict Solihull's MBC local plan, which supports only small-scale development. Additionally, the proposal would exacerbate existing flooding issues and threaten local wildlife. It would ultimately transformi our village into a small town, which I find unacceptable.
