As a homeowner in Wellesbourne, I strongly object to the proposed South Warwickshire Local Plan SG16 due to several significant issues. Recent developments have already strained local infrastructure, particularly the oversubscribed primary school. Increased housing will exacerbate traffic congestion, leading to longer journey times and safety risks. The plan threatens the picturesque landscape and raises concerns about flooding in a vulnerable area. Additionally, the loss of versatile farmland is a vital issue for local agriculture. I urge the council to reconsider the plan, prioritising community preservation and quality of life.
