I formally oppose the inclusion of SG24 in the SWLP as a resident of Hockley Heath for 19 years. I chose this rural area for my family due to its identity and proximity to nature, which would be compromised by the proposed development. The plans disregard the community's pride and the detrimental effects on mental health and safety. The loss of Green Belt land and farmland is unacceptable, especially given local flooding issues. Our already stressed transport and services cannot accommodate the proposed housing. These developments would burden our community without adequate provisions for education and healthcare.
