I have several objections regarding the proposed housing developments. Firstly, the environmental impact would increase pollution and noise. There would also be heightened traffic and parking issues. Wellesbourne has already expanded significantly beyond its village status but lacks essential town amenities. Local schools are full and traffic problems are worsening, which would only be exacerbated by new homes. Furthermore, areas are at risk of flooding, and the SUDS scheme has failed to function properly. Lastly, the proposed sites would take over valuable farmland, undermining our self-sufficiency in food production.
