I have several objections regarding the proposed housing development. Firstly, the environmental impact will worsen pollution and noise levels. Traffic and parking issues will increase, and Wellesbourne's character is already strained from past expansions without adequate amenities. Local schools are at capacity, and additional houses will exacerbate traffic problems. Flooding risks are significant, and new impermeable surfaces will worsen this, especially since the existing SUDS scheme has been ineffective. Lastly, the development will encroach on valuable farmland, undermining our self-sufficiency in food production.
