I have several objections regarding the proposed housing developments. Firstly, the environmental impact would worsen pollution and noise levels. Traffic and parking issues would escalate, further straining local schools that are already full. Wellesbourne has significantly expanded without adequate amenities for a town. Additionally, the risk of flooding would increase due to more impermeable surfaces, and the current SUDS scheme has proven ineffective, discharging polluted water into the River Dene. Finally, the development would encroach on valuable farmland, undermining our goal of self-sufficiency in food production.
