I find the current proposal inappropriate due to several reasons. It will disproportionately harm Wellesbourne and its rural surroundings, leading to adverse community and environmental impacts. Poor public transport will exacerbate traffic congestion and pollution. The replacement of farmland with hard surfaces raises flooding risks in a vulnerable area. Additionally, it will negatively affect local flora and fauna, while the sewage treatment system is already insufficient. The loss of agricultural land threatens local agriculture and national self-sufficiency, and current services cannot accommodate the expected population increase. I urge consideration of these concerns.
