Hockley Heath is a rural village surrounded by green belt land, with 800 households. I support proportional development to maintain its character, but recent and proposed plans threaten this balance. The area faces surface water flooding issues, and while a small site for development exists, it should not extend further into open fields. Current amenities are limited, with a busy road and an oversubscribed primary school. I believe that further development by Warwickshire Council will unfairly burden the residents of Solihull and compromise the village's integrity.
