I formally object to the SG24 proposal for Hockley Heath, where I have lived for 20 years. This excessive development threatens our village's character, undermines community cohesion, and disregards the Solihull Plan's guidelines for small-scale development. It inappropriately encroaches on green belt land without demonstrating the required exceptional circumstances. The proposal would harm local biodiversity, worsen air quality, and lacks necessary infrastructure for roads, schools, and healthcare. Additionally, it ignores flooding risks and breaches sustainability principles. The unsustainable nature of SG24 would irreparably damage Hockley Heath's character, environment, infrastructure, and quality of life.
