I strongly object to the proposed development in Hockley Heath. Having lived here my entire life, I value the green spaces for recreation and believed they were protected as greenbelt land. I recognise the importance of safeguarding the environment and ecosystems. Building on this land would destroy wildlife habitats, exacerbate flooding issues, and worsen public transport, which is already inadequate. Such developments would not only face wide community opposition but would also change our areas forever. I urge you to prioritise brownfield sites and reject these proposals promptly.
