As a long-time resident of Hockley Heath, I am deeply concerned about the proposed development of up to 2,875 new homes, which could drastically alter our village's character and strain our limited infrastructure. Our healthcare, education, and transport services are already inadequate, and additional pressure on local amenities could diminish our community's well-being. Environmental concerns, such as the loss of green belt land and increased flooding risks, further compound these issues. The rapid growth would erode our community identity and threaten our historical heritage. I urge you to reconsider this proposal for the future of Hockley Heath.
