I would like to register my objections and concerns about the proposed development of 6,700 homes at Bearly and Wilmcote.
The site proposed is registered greenbelt which the development would turn into what would effectively be a suburb of Stratford-upon-Avon. The important countryside around Wilmcote - and, importantly - the heritage site of Mary Arden's House - would be lost forever, and be ruined by noise and traffic pollution. The canal tow-path and the public amenity it offers would also irrevocably suffer.
I am an Associate Minister in The Church of England and often serve in the parish of Wilmcote. I know the people of the parish do not want this development, and I am therefore sending you my concerns alongside theirs.
