I find the proposed New Settlement C1 to be completely unsuitable and unsustainable. Building 5000 houses would devastate local wildlife, habitats, and farmland, while also creating more pollution and traffic hazards. The loss of vital wildlife corridors and ancient trees would disrupt ecosystems and agricultural communities. Rather than sacrificing the countryside, I believe we should focus on regenerating urban areas and addressing the issue of empty homes. The necessary infrastructure is lacking, and the plans do not consider essential services, such as burial facilities. This project would significantly harm both the environment and existing residents.
