I believe that further development in Hockley Heath would exacerbate existing surface water drainage issues and adversely affect any new homes. The village lacks the necessary infrastructure for such a large project, and it would significantly increase traffic on the already congested A3400, raising accident risks. This development contradicts Solihull MBC's local plan, which only supports small-scale projects. Additionally, the burden on Solihull for services would be unfair, leading to inter-council disputes. The proposed site is also on Green Belt land, which should be preserved for wildlife and community well-being.
