I am concerned about the proposed expansion of our small village from 700 to 5000 homes, which would overwhelm our inadequate infrastructure. Flooding is a frequent issue on the A34, and we lack essential services such as a chemist or doctor within 2 miles. Increased traffic from a larger population would exacerbate existing problems. Additionally, significant loss of Green Belt would harm wildlife and biodiversity. Our only school could not manage this growth, transforming our village into an urban area like Dorridge, Knowle, and Shirley. I hope my comments are considered in decision-making.
