I formally oppose the inclusion of SG24 in the SWLP as a Hockley Heath resident of over nine years. I believe the proposed development is excessive, threatens our village identity, and disregards the ongoing review of the Solihull Local Plan. The plan fails to justify the release of Green Belt land and overlooks viable alternatives. It also poses serious risks to local biodiversity, infrastructure capacity, and flood management. The current proposal is unsustainable and would irreparably harm Hockley Heath’s character and quality of life. SG24 cannot proceed in its current format within the SWLP.
