I recognise the need for housing but express concerns about the proposal for Hockley Heath. There is a questionable use of facts and a lack of consideration for the impact on local services, which are already stretched, particularly in schools and health services. Flooding is a significant issue, and public transport is limited, making it hard for those without cars. Solihull's plan for only 100 new homes suggests a more cautious approach. I fear that this development would transform Hockley Heath from a village into a small town, losing its character and sense of community.
