I oppose the development at Hockley Heath SG24 for several reasons. A significant portion lies in South Warwickshire, which lacks local schools and health services, placing an unfair burden on Solihull. This is unfair and would lead to ongoing disputes between Councils over funding in the future.The village's infrastructure cannot support such growth, and existing drainage issues would worsen with additional development. All of the land is designated Green Belt, which should only be built on in exceptional circumstances. Increased traffic on the already congested A34 poses safety risks. This proposal contradicts Solihull MBC's local plan for small-scale development and threatens local wildlife, green space, and the unique character of Hockley Heath.
