I oppose the proposed development at Hockley Heath, which aims to increase the village from around 700 homes to up to 5000, representing a 700% rise. This contradicts Solihull MBC's local plan, which supports only small-scale development. The added traffic from 4000 new homes would worsen congestion and increase CO2 emissions, risking accidents on already strained roads. Additionally, the proposal would burden Solihull with health, transport, refuse, and schooling issues. I believe this development would severely impact our village and quality of life.
