I object to the potential development (SG24) in Hockley Heath for several reasons. There are existing surface water drainage issues that would worsen with further development. The area is designated as Green Belt, suitable for building only in exceptional circumstances. This development contradicts Solihull MBC's local plan, which allows only small-scale projects in Hockley Heath. It would increase traffic significantly on the A34 and surrounding roads, harm wildlife, and alter the village's character. Additionally, Hockley Heath lacks the necessary infrastructure to support this development, and it unfairly places burdens on Solihull.
