As a long-time resident of Hockley Heath, I strongly object to the proposed development at SG24 in the South Warwickshire Local Plan. This plan threatens the Green Belt, exacerbates local infrastructure issues, and risks worsening flooding. The village's character would be irreversibly damaged, transforming it into an overcrowded urban area. There is no viable plan to address the strain on schools, healthcare, roads, or utilities. This proposal contradicts established planning policies and does not reflect sustainable development. I urge the SWLP to reject this plan to protect our community.
