I object to proposed New Settlement C1, Call for Sites Ref IDs 115, 610, 677 and 733 in Rowington, Ref IDs 30, 31, 53, 88, 161, 169, 205, 235, 278, 513, 514, 581, 596, 615, 649, 714 and 761 in Lapworth, and Strategic Growth Location 24 in Hockley Heath.

My objections are based on the following considerations:

1. Development scale
2. Road infrastructure and traffic
3. Water, power, sewer and stormwater, and mobile phone infrastructure
4. Major investment required to upgrade Lapworth rail capacity
5. Development near historic buildings
6. School capacity
7. Health service capacity (GP and hospitals)
8. Impact on existing amenity

The proposals are inappropriate development in the green belt. They would create precedent and further challenges in surrounding areas by opportunistic developers. The sites proposed are not sustainable and would be detrimental to locals and visitors who enjoy the amenity of Rowington, Lapworth, and Shrewley.
