As a Lapworth resident, I have significant objections to the proposed development at site C1. It threatens the Green Belt's purpose, adding pressure on inadequate local infrastructure like roads and schools, which cannot accommodate more residents. Environmental concerns arise due to potential harm to local biodiversity and a Canal Conservation Area. Additionally, the deliverability of the site is questionable without clear infrastructure plans. Finally, the development's scale could disrupt the community's character and needs. I urge the planning committee to reconsider this proposal in favour of more suitable alternatives.
