I object to the inclusion of Site C1 in the Plan as it the development will lead to unsustainable increase in the population altering the rural setting permanently. There will be strain on infrastructure such as public transport, rail services, gas, mobile phone coverage provision and the GP surgery. The construction activities will have an impact biodiversity and their habitats, large canal conservation areas, ancient woodlands, historical sites and agricultural land for food production. The site is a green belt that plays crucial role in preventing urban sprawl and maintain rural character.
