I object to SG24 being included in the Plan as it will lead to a small village being over developed and is against SMBC's commitment to preserve its rural identity. The green belt needs to be protected and countryside should be saved from encroachment. The village lacks adequate infrastructure to sustain growth and lacks a train station which will lead to kore cars increasing congestion on the roads. It is prone to surface water drainage issues which will be exacerbated without proper infrastructure. The provision of infrastructure will fall on Solihull MBC who have already opposed the development.
