I am writing to formally oppose the inclusion of SG24 within the SWLP. I am a local Hockley Heath resident and have lived in the village for 2 years.
The scale of the proposal is excessive and disproportionate to the local area.
I feel Hockley Heath would only be suitable for a small scale plan which is the complete opposite to the SG24 plan. This plan will destroy the local area , wildlife and green belt. The infrastructure of the village is not suitable for this size proposal.
School Road which suffers constant flooding, side road erosion, a country lane that already is put under pressure with local traffic. The main Stratford Road once again is already stretched.
The local amenities do not allow for further expansion.
My biggest concern is the damaging effect on the wildlife. We have a family of deers that reside in land adjacent to us and roam over proposed land sites..
There are much more suitable sites that will not totally destroy and overwhelm like the SG24 will to Hockley Heath.
