I am greatly concerned at the proposals to enlarge Lapworth village.
The village is at the junction of 3 canals so which ever way you approach it you have to cross a canal using one of the 5 bridges some of which are very old brick-built structures in poor condition
Added to this is the presence of a very low and narrow railway bridge.
Station Lane is narrow with and lined with protected Oak trees and lacks a pavement for part of its length despite being a walking route to the school.
All these factors make the village wholly unsuitable for the amount of traffic which will occur if the village is enlarged.
