Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

I am writing to object to parts of the South Warwickshire Local Plan for homes planned for Henley Golf Club.

I firstly would like to say that I don't have a full objection.

1. I own a business that operates in Henley in Arden in the UBC rented offices. We are seriously having to consider our location due to the ability to park. This will have a significant impact on this and it isn't adequate already.

2. Secondly I live in Ullenhall, this objection is based on the volume of traffic that is likely to be generated through Ullenhall Street and Henley Road - which is already used as a "rat run" for people cutting through to head towards Stratford upon Avon. I have two young children who have almost been hit by speeding cars not recognising that the lack of pavement means pedestrians only have the road to walk down. This is already unsatisfactory. There are also several people who ride horses on the nearby farms that regularly have problems with speeding cars. The roads are too narrow and can't be widened due to the impact on the trees and hedgelines and the tarmac at the edge of the verges are already falling away. I think if any kind of developments happen, further traffic calming is required, without any doubt to protect young children and families that have to walk along a road with no pavements. Increase in traffic will result in a potentially fatal accident.

3. Henley Road or Ullenhall Street could NOT be considered for access to this development. I do however think that access from the Birmingham Road would be reasonable as this is already a main road and I appreciate that properties need to be built.
