The steepness of the area would not make it ideal for building and I understand there is not much interest from the multiple landowners involved.
The Fosse Way is one of the most used cross country routes and is also going to be a big problem due to the proposed solar farm. Bus services are limited and there is no possibility for rail access. I find the suggestion incredible in view of the disruption caused already by HS2 works. All local roads are in a dire state for lack of repair which will not be improved by more and more cars.
Local schools and surgeries will not cope with such an inevitable influx of residents while new facilities are being constructed.
