We strongly agree with the result for the site to be Further Assessed. The site lies within Priority Area 2 with 3% of the site within Priority Area 1. This is therefore a sustainable location with good access to a range of services and facilities, alongside public transport connections to surrounding towns and villages. The site (ref 183) is within 800m (10 min walk) of two Primary Schools. The development of this site for residential would be appropriate and would provide an obvious extension to the existing residential uses along Rounds Hill and Rouncil Lane. The development of this site would not extend the built up area beyond the existing line of development in Rouncil Lane.
We strongly recommend this site (site ref 183) is taken forward for residential irrespective of the decision re SG04.
