I agree with the opinions submitted to Warwick District Council by
Finham Parish Council (FPC) which include:-

1. NO to a bus gate on Green Lane immediately next to Finham Primary
School due to the increased traffic congestion, heightened risk of
accidents and a further danger to our children and parents/guardians.

2. NO to the proposed roundabout at the junction of Green Lane/Howes
Lane as it will encroach too much on what little greenery will be left
and allows insufficient room for large lorries to negotiate around it.

3. YES to preserving our ancient hedgerows along the south end of Green Lane.

4. YES to preserving our trees along Green Lane, especially those with
Tree Preservation Orders.

5. YES to a 'green' corridor along Green Lane, particularly around the
back of the primary school.

6. YES to preserving the Anglo-Saxon remains close to the junction of
Kings Hill Lane with Green Lane.

7. The FPC would like assurances for a new children's play area as
close to Finham as possible, ideally on the site of the proposed bus
gate.

8. The FPC would like assurances that the promised primary and senior
schools will be built early in the building phase so as not to further
stretch the resources of our current local schools.

9. The FPC would like assurances that the promised clinic will be
built during the first phase of building.

9. The FPC would like a commitment for a new Community Centre building.
