As residents of Hatton Park we are writing to object to above proposed B1 development of agricultural land and woodland in Hatton Parish for the following reasons.
Loss of Green Belt, protected trees and woodland.
Over development within a small village and parish area.
Fine Agricultural Land being used for additional housing and employment that would be better sited on not so good agricultural land elsewhere.
Insufficient local infrastructure, namely schools, shops, GP surgeries and other community amenities.
Additional traffic congestion impact on the A4177 and the junctions at 5 Ways and A46 during both the construction period and when completed.
Noise and pollution from additional traffic.
Overload of existing public services, namely policing, gas, water, electricity, internet and drainage.
Impact on the general character of the Hatton Parish area from an agricultural rural area area to what will effectively become a new town.
Loss of countryside amenities such as Hatton Country World, footpaths, wildlife areas, horse-riding, cycling and walking areas.
