I strongly oppose the proposed future development plans for Hockley Heath, which threaten to destroy green belt land, harm biodiversity, and overburden local infrastructure. The plans disregard Solihull Council's rejection of the housing and conflict with local policies advocating small-scale development. They will increase traffic, flooding, and strain essential services, negatively impacting residents’ quality of life and environment. I believe these proposals are driven by profit rather than community benefit, and they threaten the village’s character, safety, and residents' human rights. Immediate action is needed to protect our green belt and community.
