The outdated Housing and Economic Development Needs Assessment (HEDNA) should be updated to reflect current demographic trends, and the true housing need must be thoroughly assessed. Southam is identified as a sustainable location for additional housing growth, with necessary services available. Therefore, the site east of Banbury Road should be allocated for residential development in the South Warwickshire Local Plan.
