I wish to object to the proposed development SG20 for the following reasons

It is important to define the boundaries between settlements and surrounding countryside …..

The proposed development would join together the substantially developed Bidford to the small hamlet of Arden’s Grafton. Which is not a service village. It would be in open landscape sg20 redid 562.
It is in an elevated area and would have significant visual impact as well as loss of agricultural land grade 1 and 2. We need to preserve food security.
There is no bus service and there is a 60 mph limit. Already a known accident spot.

Increased population- no secondary school at Bidford within 2km as needed for sustainable travel.

The previously agreed local plan to 2031policy AS.10 countryside and villages states developments to be considered to minimise impact on character of local landscape etc
