In principle, support the proposed balanced approach towards brownfield land in the emerging policy direction, prioritising urban brownfield land for development before other less sustainable locations and, in non-urban areas, considering the sustainability of the location and whether development would help improve the area’s sustainability e.g. as part of a new settlement.
