Whilst agreeing that Kenilworth has some vibrant shopping, there is an over representation of national retail chains and some trades. For example there are far too many opticians and currently NO delicatessens. Far too many fast food outlets/cafes and NO greengrocers.
Sainsburys has been sitting on an empty store (ex Budgens) for years.

There is also poor transport connections to the castle, with no direct buses from Coventry, Leamington or Stratford to encourage visitors.
