In order to support the housing needs of the district I would strongly argue that villages should be expanded as opposed to building on the land West of Europa Way and South of Harbury Lane.

Expansion of villages would provide affordable houses for first time buyers (the core strategy notes that rising house prices have resulted in younger residents being unable to remain in the communities and as a result the local population has generally become older and less mixed). This will ensure that village primary schools remain viable and would support village shops, community centres, churches etc.
