There is a strong and growing need for supply of further care accommodation which must be addressed within the Core Strategy. There is a significant need to develop a policy base specifically upon the detailed commitment of sites for residential care use.

Land at Quarry Farm, Old Milverton Lane is a logical and legitimate site for such use. Development can act as a catalyst for environmental improvement and enhancement.
