it seems availability is the most important factor considered by the council. They are not interested in impact on existing communities, they are not interested in impact on infrastructure, they are not concerned with following advice from CABE about developing a core strategy, they are not concerned about following the advice of the Planning Advisory Service, they are not interested in following up comments at public meetings, they are not interested in working out better solutions, they are not bothered or concerned about any valid appropriate arguements put forward.

All the council wants is to keep their mates the developers happy.
