Object to Europa Way site.
No assessment made of infrastructure requirements - impact on overfull roads, provision of water and sewerage treatment works, medical/hospital and schooling requirements, flood risk.
Appears to be attempt to circumvent planning laws and procedures under threat of financial penalties. Population and employment growth figures unsubstantiated.
40% affordable/social housing ludicrous - not economically viable especially when developers expected to fund infrastructure.
Roads into Warwick and Leamington from south and west, gridlocked at peak times every day.
Council shoudl insist on extension of at least six months to consultation period during which time infrastructure reports shoud be commissioned.
Govt. need to consider funding of infrastructure bearing in mind restraints on public spending over next ten years or so.
Consier legal challenge to whole concept of Core Strategy. Whole strategy ill conceived and will not serve community well.
