The proposed development is on floodplain and more houses would seriously affect local amenities and traffic flow in Whitnash. The remains of the ancient mill, the medieval footway to Radford, and the site of the prehistoric Holy Well would be threatened. The much used walkway and cycle track would also be affected. Development would threaten otters habitat. Resiting the school would cause resentment among residents, loss of playing fields and chaos. None of the existing roads, sewers, schools would be able to cope. Whitnash bears brunt of development.
