4.8 - 2 If Warwick District is to remain a prosperous area, housing for younger people should be a priority , especially in Kenilworth. The town needs to attract younger residents. Currently the only new housing being built is sheltered accommodation for retired people so the town is a magnet for older people.
4.8 - 3 "The threat to the economic strength of the town centres of Warwick, Leamington Spa and Kenilworth from retail and leisure developments elsewhere." The biggest threat to the economic strength of Kenilworth's town centre is the lack of well paid employment opportunities within the town.
