BASE HEADER

I am amazed that the local council wish to build on the green belt land between Leamington & Kenilworth. There was a local plan with 5 options a few years ago, none of which included this area, even though there was more proposed housing. What has changed? This time there are no options and a short consultation period, I feel the area has been badly let down by our councillors, who, it seems wish to see an urban sprawl encompassing Leamington, Kenilworth and Warwick.
Green belt should be protected except in exceptional circumstances, this is not an exceptional circumstance as there are other alternatives as per previous options.
Councillor Doody, has said that if there is no plan, one will be imposed, that would be for the best, as I cannot believe anyone else would come up with such a poor plan which would devastate the precious green belt areas in our district.
