Object to proposed site at Warwickshire Exhibition Centre.
Site is on high risk travel route with many serious accidents in last few years. Dangerous for buses to stop and there is no pathway on Fosse Way next to site.
Site is listed on archaeological register - recent pottery finds.
Local amenities already stretched eg doctors' surgery has no capacity for new patients and local primary school almost at capacity.
If plan goes ahead, WEC will close, meaning loss of up to 40 jobs and more than £2,000,000 from local economy annually.
Site is next to protected ancient woodland so risk to wildlife habitat. Visual impact across beautiful green valley can only be detrimental.
I would like to register my objection to the proposed site at The Warwickshire Exhibition Centre. My reasons for doing so are:-
1. Site situated on a high risk travel route where a large number of serious accidents have occurred in the last few years. It is also potentially dangerous for any buses to stop and there is no pathway on the Fosse adjacent to the site.
2. The proposed site is listed on the archaeological register - recent pottery finds.
3. Local amenities are already stretched - for example the doctors' surgery has no capacity for an influx of new patients and the local primary school is almost at full capacity.
4. If the plan goes ahead, the WEC will close meaning up to 40 job losses and it would also take out a sum in excess of £2,000,000 from the local economy each year.
5. There is a risk of danger to wild life habitat as the site is adjacent to a protected ancient woodland. The visual impact across what is a beautiful green valley can only be detrimental.
