Crynodeb o'r Gynrychiolaeth:

Doctor's surgeries at Harbury and Radford Semele are full as are nearest primary, junior and secondary schools.

Site is High Risk travel route with more than 12 serious accidents in last 3 years. There is no path or pavement and cycling is dangerous. Children cannot be allowed on a busy road to wait for transport to school.

Site has no mains gas, mains sewerage or drainage. It is a low level site with problems of flooding causing problems with sewerage etc.

There would be damage to wildlife habitats.

Local businesses would be affected mainly the Exhibition Centre and local farms. Impacts also on archaeology and heritage (Fosse Way is a Roman road), urbanisation, agriculture and rural landscape.

Brown area sites would not use prime farm land or involve speeding traffic, flooding etc and put lives of any children and families on this site in danger.

Testun llawn:

Dear Sirs

Proposed sites for Gypsies and Travellers

I wish to object against the proposal site GT02 Land near the Fosse Road at its junction with the B425 for Gypsies and Travellers.

My comments and concerns are as follows: -
1 Access to Local Amenities:
The doctor's surgery at Harbury has no capacity for the influx of new patients and they would have to use the facilities at Radford Semele which is also full.
The nearest primary, junior and secondary schools are already full to capacity.

2 Travel
The site is on a High Risk travel route on the Fosse with more than 12 serious accidents in the last 3 years.
There is no path or pavement to walk anywhere - either on the Fosse way or into Ufton - and cycling is dangerous on the busy commuter route.
Children cannot be allowed on a busy road to wait for transport to school.
.
3 Rural environment/Other
The proposed site has no mains gas, mains sewerage or drainage. It is a low level site with problems of flooding causing problems with sewerage etc.
There would be damage to wildlife habitats.

There are many other issues already listed in my objection including local businesses mainly the Exhibition Centre and local farms, archaeology and heritage, urbanisation agriculture and rural landscape. The Site is also close to the Fosse which is an archaeological site from the Roman times.

Is it not possible to find some brown area sites that would not take away from prime farm land and also brown area sites that would not involve the danger from speeding traffic, flooding etc to put the lives of any children and families on this site in danger?
