Principal objections to this site are:

Local amenities are some distance with no public transport. Nearby schools and GP surgeries cannot handle a further influx of people.

Site doesn't have mains drainage which is a sanitation problem.

Road network in this location already has high accident rates which the proposal would exacerbate.

Compulsory purchasing the site which employs local people and is primed for growth would harm the local community and be inappropriate given the state of the economy.

Non-employment brownfield/redundant sites would be preferable.
