The A4177 Birmingham Road is already very busy with a lot of accidents occurring.To add more housing at Hatton Park does not make sense and would bring traffic to a standstill. The impact on the small community at Hatton Terrace would be huge. To propose new dwellings in the proximity of the exisiting shell petrol station would be a recipe for danger / traffic accidents.Development near to the Hatton Flight(Locks) would damage the openess of the countryside and impact on visitor numbers.The Greenbelt and the wildlife diversity along the canal corridor should be defended.
On several occassions development has been rejected at this location due to concerns related to traffic / safety. The local school does not have capacity for further childrens places.
