Important historic and archaeological area.
Good quality arable land needed for food production.
No mains services on site and would require extensive facilities to ensure air/groundwater quality.
Loss of WEC and jobs and effect on local economy and other businesses.
If WEC closes, G&T community could move onto car park.
Would be visible in countryside from access roads. Important route with possible detrimental effect on tourism.
Local facilites are at capacity and could not accommodate more.
Urbanisation.
