In 2009 Cubbington Parish Council carried out a Housing Needs Survey which identified a need for a small development of affordable homes only.
In 2012 Warwick District Local Plan Survey stated that sites 1 and 2 were not suitable for housing developments.
Why does Cubbington require 75-150 new homes?
Why do the allotments need to be replaced and re-sited elsewhere?
In 2009 Cubbington Parish Council carried out a Housing Needs Survey identifying the need for a small development of affordable homes and no requirement was identified for additional housing.
In 2012 Warwick District Local Plan Survey stated:-
Site 1 - the allotment land was not suitable for development due to the impact on an area of high landscape value and protecting green belt status and recreational facilities (allotments).
Site 2 - Land at North Cubbington was not suitable for development due to the impact on open countryside in an area of high landscape value and the scale of the development in relation to the existing built up area of Cubbington.
What has changed?
Why do you need to destroy one set of allotments and create a new set on green belt land?
Why does Cubbington require 75-150 new homes, of which some being affordable.
Is the affordable new homes requirement not satisfied by the current new development.
